| Description | Mid-West Moravia (MWM) is quite unknown and so far not identified region in the borderlands of four mezoregions: South Moravia/Brno, West Moravia/The Highland, East Bohemia/Pardubice and Central Moravia/Olomouc. The adjacent microregions with nodes in the towns of Boskovice, Bystrice n. P., Svitavy and Konice have very similar problems with their development/sustainability and cross-bordering cooperation could be welcome. Geographical content analysis and synthesis is supported by GIS technologies based on X-BASE (format dBASE IV), Microsoft Excel XP, Adobe Photoshop 6.0, ArcInfo 9 and software package AxioMap 1.5 CZ. The last is delivered by the enterprise of Spatial Data Systems offering XML base/files, and visualization by format VML and SVG. This allows, with the help of ArcIMS and WMS servers to combine and confront new data with existing web datasets. |
