Description | This paper brings a review of a long-term malacological survey of Peliny, an important Nature Reserve near Choceň town (East Bohemia, Czech Republic). Altogether, 50 mollusc species have been recorded during the last 100 years (representing 21% of the total Czech mollusc fauna). The isolated populations of the East-Alpine Cochlodina commutata, Itala ornata, and Pupilla sterrii were confirmed. The last mentioned species has a single site there within the East Bohemia. Rare woodland species Platyla polita, Daudebradia rufa, and Vertigo alpestris were recorded for the first time. |
