Description This contribution presents preliminary results of data acquisition testing and shape analysis techniques for hand shape analysis. The result acquired from comparing various techniques, such as hand-draw tracing, commercial flatbed scanner, copy machine and digital photography will be discussed. Proposition of new geometric morphometrics approach follows.
