| Description | The measurement of the regulatory size and quality is very difficult. The size of regulation can be stated through the rate of public expenditures to gross domestic product. We can also use some regulatory quality indicators such as indicator of regulatory quality by the World Bank, indicator of product market regulation by Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development or index of economic freedom by Heritage Foundation. All these indicators of the size or quality of regulation should give very similar results. The aim of this paper is found out if they did. The conclusion is done for 25 the European Union member states. |
