Description | Effect of six defined liquid media on growth of Phytophthora (nicotianae var. nicotianae, cryptogea, cactorum, cinnamomi) mycelium was determined, and differences in weight of dry mycelial mats were measured. The antigens were isolated from the mycelium of individual Phytophthora sp. and protein contents determined. The composition of medium influenced not only growth of the mycelium but also quantity and quality of antigen proteins, that were determined by electrophoresis. |
