Description | The technique of spatially resolved cross-correlation spectroscopy was used to record two-dimensional luminosity distributions for the selected spectral bands of molecular nitrogen (337.1 nm and 391.5 nm) emitted by the microdischarges of barrier discharge in a flowing synthetic air at atmospheric pressure. These experimental data enabled quantitative estimate of electric field evolution within the microdischarge channel. The procedure of data processing included Abel transformation (assuming cylindrical symmetry), smoothing, differentiation over time and calculation of E/N (z,r,t) using calibration results. |
