Description The relations between subjects are not sufficiently used when developing the independent thinking and creativity of students. When learning about the history of the 20th century, the one possibility for a remedy is the project teaching in media education. Czech historical films are often products of their time, so it is necessary to decide and consider the interconnections of history to literary, stylistic and communication education that present themselves in the lower secondary school curriculum. A follow-up project after watching a film from a literary work might be a useful stimulus of integration and coordination between the educational areas.
