Description | Cannabidiol referred as a potential anxiolytic and antidepressant agent was tested in the mouse models of social defeat and the bilateral olfactory bulbectomy for its antidepressant activity. The behavioural data received in both behavioural tests can support more likely cannabidiol potential anxiolytic than antidepressant-like activity. Cannabidiol significantly disinhibited the suppressed phagocytosis of leukocytes in the OB mice, which resembles effects of the antidepressants in this animal models. |
