| Description | The Nazi occupation of the Czech Lands from 1939 to 1945 brought about the closure of Czech universities, along with persecutions, imprisonments and executions of persons of consequence, including many philosophers. The article investigates how despite all the obstacles one managed to sustain the former level of philosophical life in the Czech Lands due to irregularly appearing philosophical and cultural journals same as original books and translations. |
