| Description | An international seminář was held in Křtiny u Brna in the framework of the international HERODOT project focused on education in geography. Participants from 15 European, African and Asian countries attended this three-days-long seminar and discussed several educational issues. It was stated, that computers are not used by sufficient way in geography. Teachers are afraid of their application. Even at universities PCs are mostly used for writing texts or PP presentation completing. Interesting and attractive ways of PC applications were presented and evaluated, e.g. wikipedia, GPS and multimedia. |
