Description | Multiple logistic regression analysis of body mass index (BMI, kg/m2) and baroreflex sensitivity (BRS, ms/mmHg) performed in 38 hypertensive subjects and 73 healthy controls aged 16.5 years revealed that a low BRS (p=0.001) and an increased BMI (p=0.0004) were independent variables associated with increased risk of hypertension. |
