• Description: Summer schools of applied informatics combine environmental topics with the dissemination potential of informatics to implement access to environmental data and research findings as information offerings on the Internet. We summarize here also topics of the 3th Summer School of Applied Informatics, which was hold this year in Bedřichov from 25. to 27 August 2006. This proceedings seeks to clarify how the conference based exchange of research results, information sources and newly developed applications stimulates knowledge integration and competence building.
