• Description: Characterization of lactobacilli inhabiting dental plaque on the temporary dentition by biotyping and rep-PCR with (GTG)5 primer. We have identified 19 strains of L. rhamnosus, 13 L. fermentum, 7 L. casei / paracasei, 4 L. salivarius, 1 L. plantarum and 1 L. gasseri; remaining 15 strains were assigned asLactobacillus sp.
