Description A connection between baroque and enlightenment in the central Europe is followed in a short article. The Exampel is given by count Maximilian Ulrich Kaunitz, one of the most distinguished head of the government in Moravia. Kaunitz was a patron of the painting a fresco ceiling of House of Estates in Brno by Daniel Gran, in which his political programme was depicted.
