Description The article outlines some trends in Czech critical psychology. Critical psychology is an open discipline, which adapts itself to the changing world and also changes and influences the world in return. From critical point of view some aspects like psy-complex, psychological industry or pop-psychology are mentioned. The course Critical Psychology has been repeatedly opened for students since 2002 at the Faculty of Social Studies of Masaryk University in Brno. The critical approaches are apparent from the beginning of the 1990s in psychotherapy, as well. The author focuses also on creation and use of typologies, and other manners like passing on knowledge in psychology.
