| Description | The main goal of this paper is to analyse the fiscal policy in Hungary with emphasis on the mutual influence of the state of public finance and economic growth. We will be particularly concerned with the influence of the fiscal policy on the stock of capital, constituting the basis for the relationship between fiscal policy and economic growth. The main part of the analysis is focused on the revenue and expenditure sides of public budgets respectively, as well as on their balance. The paper covers the period from 1991 until present. |
