Description | We determined that the efflux of potassium ions into extracellular medium and NO production after the developed defence response by elicitins are dependent on concentration and race of used elicitins. We found that cryptogein triggers the most intensive increase of concentration of K+ ions in extracellular medium from tested elicitins and 50 nM concentration of this elicitin is the most effective for starting defence responses. We demonstrated the enhanced production of NO after inducing the defence response by cryptogein and mutated cryptogein in a suspension of tobacco cells. Results fill up previous knowledge about how the intensity of reactions of defence response alters after elicitation of tobacco cell suspension by cryptogein and mutated cryptogein. |
