Blockade of CB1 cannabinoid receptor decreases the body weight without change of locomotor activity in mice

• Description: Cannabinoid antagonist AM-251 decreased dose dependently body weight after repeated administration in mice. Locomotor activity was not affected, thus it can be hypothesized that the reduction of body weiht was due to anorectic effects of AM-251.
