• Description: The paper summarizes results of studies of clinical correlates of the CYP2D6 dynamics during the treatment of depressive disorder with paroxetine and points out different clinical outcomes according to gender of patients. Indication of assesment of the metabolic activity of the CYP2D6 are further discussed as well as a possible future clinical use of testing of some pharmacokinetic genes.
