| Description | The goal of E-learning is to assist in knowledge transfer process from teacher (or learning documents) toward students via computer systems. Explicit semantic description is needed for such functionality. This paper showed methods working with picture semantics to make them more contributive to e-learning. E-learning area is specific in drawback of any basic knowledge of its users - students; in contrast with knowledge management or information retrieval. Paper also introduced semiautomatically pictures annotating system (oversighted by user), which segment them, annotate them with ontology concept, and store in knowledge repository. Some information about repository under development (and its new functions for other modules of ELSW project) was also described. |
