| Description | The goal of this paper is to analyse new principles and orientations of public social services according to act No. 108/2006 (Social Service Act), which was accepted on spring 2006. The main aim of the new act was the need to change the system social services in the Czech Republic, which has been operating since end of 80s in the past century and it is not adequate to contemporary European requirements of public service. The basic aim of the new law is particularly to secure help for people, who are in unfavourable social situation and to support them a wide scale of social services, also to set up rules to provide and introduce of a care contribution. This contributions are given to people, who in case of long unfavourable health condition period need other persons help. |
