| Description | The Czech Republic lacks a legal regulation that would present a satisfactory solution to the problem of old environmental damages on a general level. Proposals that have been presented in the past have not yet been put into action. The complexity of environmental damages is alone expressed in its terminology. A generally valid legal definition of the term „environmental damage“ does not yet exist in our legal system. Different terms are used to indicate this phenomenon, but these often lack matching content in different connections. This contribution deals with certain legal aspects of old environmental damages. |
