| Description | Coaching represent a profession of various forms requiring from its practitioners not only extensive expert knowledge, but also personal dispositions and social skills. The professional roles of coach depending on the changing form of the sports world. As a consequence of natural transformation of the coaching profession the issue of coach education attracts more attention. The main emphasis is laid on the necessity of the so called clinical approach and life-long learning. The contributors take these starting points into consideration and mention several main problems and challenges in education of coaches. The theoretical part is complemented by particular results of preliminary research focused on the problems of education of coaches. |
