Description | The goal of the contributions is statistical description and forecast of prevalence trends by 23 solid cancer sites from database of Czech Cancer Registry during the period 1989-2004. Analysis by sex, age, geographical distribution in 14 regions and some clinical criteria is completed by the time and space modelling in view of expected trends till 2015 as the preview of healthcare volume in oncology. From the presented data and almost 434 thousand treated cancers, with more expensive therapy, follows the importance of preventive anticancer measures. The used statistical analysis is based on multivariate classification techniques and neural networks. |
