Description | The development of equipment which enables estimation of the central aortic pressure waveform by mathematical transformation of radial tonometry pressure was the aim of this study. It is composed of several steps, e.g. recording of pulse wave on radial artery, reconstruction of the central aortic waveform by mathematical transformation by means of generalized transfer function and estimation of the augmentation index. |
