Description | Sulfhydryl group of glutathione is highly reactive and is often found conjugated to other molecules such as nitric oxide via its sulfhydryl moiety. Thus it is not a surprise that GSH can even influence a treatment of diseases including cancer. In malignant tumours, as compared with normal tissues, the multidrug resistance associates in most cases with higher GSH levels within these cancer cells. Stationary electrochemical measurements were carried out the AUTOLAB Analyser. Coulochem III coupled with flow injection analysis was used as flow electrochemical instrument. |
