| Description | The article deals with certain aspects of tourism, using the Vysočina Region as a model example. The survey concentrated on spatial phenomena, such as collective accommodation establishments and functional-spatial regionalisation of the region. One of the aims of the piece of work was to point out that a survey of collective accommodation establishments does not necessarily have to be exclusively linked with the data published by the Czech Statistical Office (in terms of quantity and quality). Another aim is to suggest a regionalisation of tourism in the region (taking into consideration the distribution of collective accommodation establishments as well as basic forms of tourism and individual recreation object available) and to draw connection with its further development. |
