• Description: In this work, cemented WC/Co hard metals were analysed using different direct methods of laser ablation - LA-ICP-OES, LA-ICP-MS and LIBS. Elements such as Co, Nb, Ta and Ti were determined. The instrumentation and incurred problems of each method are discussed.
