Description | We report on the utilization of Laser Induced Plasma Spectroscopy for monitoring of the lead and magnesium accumulation in lettuce (Lactuca sativa L. var. capitata) leaf samples. The capability of this analytical method is compared with the results obtained by laser-ablation inductively coupled plasmamass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS). The total amount of magnesium as essential element and lead as pollutant is determined by atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS) in the target samples. |
