| Description | Partial analysis of excavation of the Early Medieval fortification on Pohansko near Břeclav. Ecavation was done in years 2005 and 2006. We have discovered old known construction parts of the rampart (stone wall, wooden basement, wooden hinter wall) and also new parts (covered entrance on the top of the rampart). We have also discovered older phase of fortification represented by stockade trough. Exact date of construction and destruction of whole fortification is still unknown. |
