| Description | Paper is focused on the issue of divorce rate and its analyse in point of view of education. The whole analysis is based on data produced by Czech Statistical Office and published in publication Pohyb obyvatelstva and data from censuses 1980, 1991 and 2001. The main finding is a decrease of divorce rate of men with increase of their attained education and simultaneously the curve of divorce rate of women gets a form of inverse U. The divorce rate of women, except women with basic school, is higher than divorce rate of identically educated men. At least broken marriages are between couples of people with basic school. On the contrary couples with the biggest education difference are the most frequently divorced ones, especially when women are more educated than their husbands. |
