| Description | In the environmental context, urban garden colonies are usually approved of their ecological functions: they are places of verdancy and production of local foodstuff. The proximity of nature, self-provision as well as the identification with the place, neighbourly relationships and sharing things - this all brings life in urban garden colonies closer to traditional life in the country. How is the current situation reflected by the gardeners? We tried to take a look inside their world in the selected garden colonies in Brno. |
