| Description | This paper tries to deal with some aspects of Testing Language Competence in Non-Philology Masaryk University Faculty of Education doctoral programme students. Apart from traditional forms of language testing (reading comprehension, use of English, academic writing, and listening), the testing of speaking competence of doctoral students includes a structured MS Power Point presentation based on a particular doctoral thesis (abstract, area of expertise, research methods, thesis structure, current findings, output, publications, resources and relevant web links). |
