• Description: Analyte electrodeposition can be treated as a special analyte separation technique in electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry (ETAAS). During electrochemical deposition, the analyte can, under suitable experimental conditions, also be concentrated. Traces of analyte were determined by ETAAS after electrochemical preconcentration on a commercial graphite ridge probe. Noble metals were used for the electrochemical modification of the graphite probe surface.
