Description | The method Dynamic Phenotype of Body mass or of the body height was used for the interpretation of growth in children and adolescents from birth to the age of 18 years. The human growth curve is by this model divided into three components similarly as in Karlberg's - I, C, P. The body growth of humans is in this completely different from the growth of the other animals except for some primates. The Dynamic Phenotype method can be used for investigation of the brain's function ontogeny in relation to neural and humoral regulatory mechanisms of body mass growth during childhood and transition to puberty. |
