Description | The paper summarizes the authors' findings regarding alkali-aggregate reactions in constructions made from OPC concretes. Results of micropetrographic and chemical analyses and EDX analyses of volcanic aggregates from a tunnel construction in Central Slovakia are given. Along with them, chemical analyses of binder separated parts and influence of carbonate aggregates are discussed. Subsequently, sulphate attack and zeolitization of OPC concretes accompanying ASR are discussed. Geovisualization of aggregate composition and OPC composition may considerably contribute to prediction of concrete detrerioration risk. |
