• Description: Concentrations of hexachlorobenzene were observed to rise until 2006 at the regional observatory Košetice, Czech Republic. The analysis of air mass back trajectories allowed a description of spatial and temporal variations of possible source areas of this compound. A European passive air sampling network, MONET, provided information on the spatial distribution of hexa and pentachlorobenzene in air in this region.
