Description | The study brings information on teaching profession by means of profession stories of fifty women teachers. We assembled the individual stories in a structure by motivation, experience, everydayness, work, significance, sense and teaching fate, comprised in those personal stories. After qualitative analysis we can conclude that teaching is a deliberate choice of the profession; by women teachers it is considered mainly traditionally, with a relatively high moral credit and with differentiation between surplus of upbringing or educational work. By identifying with the teaching profession, the teachers can reach life satisfaction, but they are also confronted with specific loads and problems that can lead to deformations, which are not foreknown by them. |
