Description | The aim of this work was to investigate the interactions of metallothioneins with cisplatin. For this purpose we employed adsorptive transfer stripping technique with differential pulse voltammetry (mercury electrode) and gravimetric measurements (quartz crystal). Primarily we optimized experimental conditions for determination of MT using both techniques. The average concentration of the drug bound to DNA was estimated as 8.1 ng of cisplatin per 500 ng of DNA by voltammetry. Gravimetric measurements gave very similar results. |
