Description | A method for modeling of emissions from road traffic is presented. A correct and precise approach for using geographic information systems (GIS) for the preparation of input data for the dispersion model SYMOS 97, especially for the generation of an irregular grid of reference points, is presented. A procedure with selectable parameters, which can help other users simplify this task, was developed. The obtained grid is suitable for spatial interpolation and a subsequent cartographical visualisation of results. |
