| Description | The paper presents the results of the knowledge background research from the issue of value creation in the reverse flows, to which according the author’s view the attention is not paid enough from the side of the academicians in the Czech Republic. Reverse flows constitute less or more important part of the enterprise processes and concern every company or organisation. The perception of the importance is very different among the managers of the enterprises, though. If we abstract from the companies, for which the reverse flows are the essence of their entrepreneurship, some companies ignore reverse flows except for unnecessary minimum, the other appreciate subsequently the given possibilities from these flows and there are also companies considering the reverse processes for strategically important offering the competitive advantage on the market, respectively could lead to the sustainable competitiveness of whole supply chain. For some industries the reverse flows could be critical for the competitiveness and successfulness and the management of reverse flows is denoted as the one of key competences of management. Proactive approach to the reverse flows is typical for those enterprises, which became conscious of the value that could be captured from these flows. |
