Description | The article deals with the multicultural topic in the context of the Czech Educational system. The first part of the article is concentrated on the general reasons, which proclaim the need of the multicultural education {especially the existence of the stereotypes and prejudices in the society}. Then is shortly defined the conception of the multicultural education and its main goals. The main part of the article, which is determined by the theoretical and research reports is dedicated to different topics and problems which are connected with the introduction of the multicultural education in the Czech Republic. In the conclusion of the article are indicated the structure and the range of work and activities in the Centre for Minority Integration-Brno {ESF project, MSMT, realized by IPPP CR}in the field of multicultural education. |
