Description | The paper introduces the reading literacy research, that we carried out among primary-school pupils. In order to achieve a better insight into the problem of reading literacy and the factors that influence its development we used the qualitative research approach as well as the quantitative one. By analysing selected pupils (extreme cases) it was possible for us to describe reading strategies that are used by readers of different proficiencies. Results of the reading strategies research is being presented in this paper. |
