Description | Paleoanthropological materials from Předmostí were recovered by several archaeologist during a century of research and represent one of the largest collections of early modern human remains. Unfortunately, most of these fossils were destroyed in 1945. Aim of this paper is to create a list of finds in accordance with the discovery dates, to place them into the spatial and chronological context and to compare them with the results from the last excavation in 2006. The new interpretation takes in account both the effect of past ritual behavior and postdepositional processes. |
