| Description | The article focuses on the notion of electoral arena and upon its role in the study of electoral competition in complex institutional settings. The author argues that this conceptual tool should not be underestimated. The concept of electoral arena enables us to elaborate sophisticated descriptions and comparative analyses of intra level as well as across level territorial congruence of electoral behavior and party competition patterns. |
