Description | The study is a sociologically approached deliberation of the photographs by Miloš Spurný from the Between Photography and Ecology exhibition in the Moravian Gallery between 16th August - 18th November 2007. It contemplates the two pivotal objects that Spurný's camera focused on, the landscape of the Czech-Moravian Uplands and the "Ancient Rivers" landscape at the confluence of the Dyje, the Svratka and the Morava, today permanently flooded by the water of the Nové Mlýny reservoirs. The artist is primarily interested in the way modern man perceives these landscapes and how he relates to them. |
