Description In the Czech Republic and as well as in other CEE countries the development zones are an important phenomenon and a significant instrument for regional development. The paper deals with one of the development zone type (industrial zones, parks) that have brought a long-term economical benefit to a certain region. Spatial and economical aspects are evaluated on the example of the private industrial developer (CTP Invest) that has dominated in the Czech Republic and also becoming a leader in other countries of CEE countries.
