| Description | The paper presents the results of the election to the Aland Islands Parliament (Lagting) that took place 21st October 2007. Despite the election bringing some power reallocation among the main political parties, no significant party system modification occurred. The paper deals in a nutshell with the electoral system applied, main issues discussed during the election campaign, election results and territorial differences in the size of electoral support for individual political parties across the municipalities. |
