| Description | In this chapter it has been shown that the Czech National Cancer Registry enables us to define a clinically relevant and high-quality set of reference data also for testicular cancer which has far lower incidence than other malignant diagnoses. Resulting estimates of 5year relative survival document fully comparable results of the Czech health care system in comparison with international data. This chapter also documents that long-term population survival of patients diagnosed with testicular cancer can be used for predictive modelling of cancer prevalence and the number of patients potentially treated in particular calendar year. |
