Description The study introduces the Czech version of the The Children's Perception of Interparental Conflict Scale (CPIC, Grych, Seid, Fincham, 1992). Psychometric properties of the measure were assessed on a sample of 554 fifteen-year-olds who participate in the Czech ELSPAC longitudinal study. A 3-factor structure of conflict properties, threat, and self-blame shows a sufficient, though not perfect fit with theoretical expectations and Grych, Seid, Fincham's results. The developmental role of the sub-scale of triangulation is discussed with its implications for conflict cognition and factor structure of the instrument. The Czech CPIC was found suitable for research use, although there is room for improvement on the triangulation scale. Also data from a more representative sample are necessary for more practical use.
